Fundación Autismo en Voz Alta

  • We are a non-governmental (NGO), non-profit organization (NPO) established in 2006 in Caracas, Venezuela. It started driven by a family’s quest to integrate and educate people with autism.
  • We believe that education is an essential pillar for the development of an inclusive society and a contribution to the wellbeing of its members.

Autism comprises a set of neurobiological disorders. *

  • It affects how the person communicates, socializes and experiments the surrounding world.
  • It presents itself in different degrees, from barely noticeable to the most severe levels compromising different areas.
  • With an adequate diagnosis and intervention, people with autism are able to develop their skills and improve the quality of their life.

*Denominated in the DMS-V Autistic Spectrum Disorders

We ask ourselves what do the students like, what are they interested in, what do they excel in, and we reinforce those skills. Our goal
in teaching people with autism is to help them  reach independence
